My name is Zak -

I created ALCHE.ME to be able to provide an efficient and effective therapeutic service.

Born from Integrative Body Psychotherapy, ALCHE.ME has a strong and proven foundation.

In order to create real and lasting change we must both recognize and heal the learned cognitive patterns as well as the nervous system experience of old trauma. Mind and body are each part of the whole and focusing on one area alone is not enough.

As children we learn to survive, to get love, our nervous system learns to protect ourselves from small consistent injuries. We continue these patterns in how we navigate our world. Every trauma and every relationship we encounter is navigated by that same set of old familiar underlying survival mechanisms.

These survival skills eventually start to work against us.

Those same skills and injuries become embedded in our bodies and create familiar patterns of pain and suffering. It may feel as though you are alone, it may feel that you are broken.

Know you are not alone and most of all you are not broken. Healing the old familiar injuries in your life will allow you to utilize your skills to move you forward with grounded action towards who you are and what you truly want to become.
